There’s free off-street parking and a generous, enclosed garden, which makes arrival simple and days easy to plan. The house feels calm and unhurried, with local shops nearby and straightforward access into York by car or bus when you want it.

The Space
The house is well cared for and arranged in a way that feels comfortable and familiar rather than styled for short stays. Rooms are spacious, with a natural flow between living, dining, and outdoor areas.

Downstairs, the living room is a relaxed space for unwinding in the evenings, while the separate dining room suits longer meals or quiet mornings. The conservatory looks out over the garden and is often used as a light-filled spot to read, have a coffee, or simply sit and watch the garden change through the day. The kitchen is a full-size, practical space with everything needed for self-catering, including a cooker, fridge freezer, washing machine, and everyday cooking equipment.

The house sits in a quiet suburban neighbourhood and has a really homely feel. Local convenience shops are within around a ten-minute walk, useful for picking up essentials without heading far. York city centre is easily reached by car or bus, making it simple to dip in and out without staying right in the middle of it.

The location also works well for exploring further afield, with quick access to North Yorkshire and nearby shopping areas such as Monks Cross Retail Park & Vanguard Shopping Park, which has shops, restaurants, a multiplex cinema, crazy golf, and a ten-pin bowling alley.

Parking and access
Free off-street parking is available on the driveway. Guests have full use of the house and garden throughout their stay. The garage and one internal room are locked for storage and are not accessible.

Up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome by prior arrangement. A £25 pet cleaning fee applies. Bowls, throws, and towels can be provided for dogs when requested.
